Haven Christian Centre

We believe that we are here to worship God in Jesus Christ, to tell people about his amazing love and to show that love in how we serve our community and our world. We believe this is the responsibility of everyone who belongs to Haven Christian Centre and calls it home.

Loving Jesus More
Deepening our prayer and our worship and seeking to meet with Him through His Holy Spirit.

We do this by how we:

• Worship

Making it a priority to be there whenever the church meets together, as much as we’re able.

• Grow

Listening and learning more about God in Jesus through the Bible every day.

• Pray

Spending time praying for individuals, our community and our world every day.

Living Jesus’ Way
Living out our faith joyously together every day.

We do this by how we:

• Belong

Sharing and enjoying our lives together, giving and receiving support and encouragement.

• Welcome

Ensuring that everyone is made to feel that they belong; comfortable, safe and at home.

• Give

Giving financially, regularly and consistently, to the work of the church.

Sharing Jesus’ Love
Building relationships with our friends and neighbours and sharing God’s love with them.

 

We do this by how we:

• Serve

Playing our part in the church’s work, when we’re together and out serving our communities.

• Share

Praying for our neighbours and friends and speaking to them about our experience of Jesus.

• Invite

Inviting our friends and neighbours to discover who Jesus is through the church.
